The Letter to the Galátas of Páulus

לגלטיא

Chapter 1

From: - To:

  1. ¶ Páulus, a delegate: not from the sons of ’Âthâ´m nor even by the hand of[E1]  a son of ’Âthâ´m, instead by the hand of Yâhuwshúa` the Anointed and of the Mighty One His Father, Who raised Him from among the dead;
  2. And all those brothers together with me: to the convocations of Galatía.
  3. Favor and peace is yours, from Yâ-hwéh: the Father and our Sovereign Yâhuwshúa` the Anointed,
  4. Who gave His Self for our sins, so that He might deliver us from the impending harmful age[E2] , according to the wish of our Mighty One and Father, [compare Yâhuwchânâ´ns Glad Tidings 17: 15]
  5. To Whom is the honor for the ages of the ages, ’Âmë´n.

Being switched to a false glad tidings[E3]

  1. ¶ I wonder because of how quickly ye are being changed from Him Who called you by the favor of the Anointed, unto a different glad tidings,
  2. That which is not another one, rather there are some who agitate you and wish to pervert the glad tidings of the Deliverer!
  3. Nevertheless even if we, or an envoy from the skies should announce glad tidings to you contrary to what we have announced to you, let him be put out (anathema)!
  4. In that manner we have said before, now also I say again: if anyone announces glad tidings to you contrary to that which ye did receive, let him be put out (anathema)!

Páulus proclaimed the True glad tidings firsthand

  1. For, now do I persuade [for a glad tidings (v. 11)] of the sons of ’Âthâ´m, or Yâ-hwéh?  Or do I wish to please the sons of ’Âthâ´m?  For if I were yet pleasing men, I wouldn’t be the Anointed’s bondman!
  2. But I make known to you, brothers, the glad tidings which was announced by me, that it is not according to a son of ’Âthâ´m:
  3. For I did neither receive it, nor was I taught it from a son of ’Âthâ´m, instead [it came to me] through a disclosure of Yâhuwshúa` the Anointed!
  4. For ye heard of my conduct at one time within the “Yehuwthíy” religion, because I was preeminently persecuting the convocation of Yâ-hwéh and I was sacking it;
  5. And I was advancing within the “Yehuwthíy” religion beyond many peers in my own country, being more abundantly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
  6. But when He was pleased – He Who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me through His favor –
  7. To disclose His Son within me, in order that I should announce Him as the glad tidings among the heathen masses, I did not immediately confer[E4]  with flesh and blood,
  8. Nor did I go up unto Yruwshâláim to those being delegates before me!  Instead I went away into `Aráv (Αραβίαν) [present-day Saudi Arabia], and again returned unto Damméseq.
  9. Then after three years, I went up to Yruwshâláim to interview Këph, and I remained with him fifteen days,
  10. But I did not see another of the delegates, except Ya`aqóv the half-brother of our Sovereign.
  11. Now what I write to you is here in the sight of Yâ-hwéh, because I do not lie.
  12. Then I came unto the slopes of ’A´m and Kilikía,
  13. But I was unknown, by aspect, to the convocations of Yâhuwthâ´h which are within the Anointed;
  14. Yet they were only hearing that

‘He who once persecuted us now announces the glad tidings, the persuasion which he once ravaged!’

  1. And they were praising Yâ-hwéh for me.

Chapter 2

Páulus sent to have his glad tidings confirmed by the delegates to prevent debate

  1. Then after fourteen years I again went up unto Yruwshâláim with Bar-Nâvíy, taking Títus along also,
  2. But I went up according to a disclosure, and laid the glad tidings before them, that which I proclaim among the heathen masses, but privately to those of repute, lest somehow I should be running or had run in vain;
  3. Nevertheless even Títus, he who was together with me, being a ’Arammíy*[E5] , was not compelled to be circumcised [in the flesh];
  4. Not even for the sake of those false brothers brought in stealthily, those who came in by stealth to spy out our freedom which we have within the Anointed Yâhuwshúa`, in order that they might bring us into slavery!
  5. To whom we did not yield in subjection, not even for an hour, in order that the Truth of the glad tidings might continue to stay before you.
  6. Yet from the ones approved to be something, it was not important to me however great they were: Yâ-hwéh does not accept a human’s aspect.  For those approved did not add anything more –
  7. Rather on the contrary, having seen that I have been entrusted with the glad tidings of the circumcision[E6]  [of the heart], just as Këph had been entrusted the glad tidings of the circumcision [of the heart],
  8. For He Who worked in Këph for a commission of the Circumcision [of the heart] worked one also in me for the heathen masses,
  9. And having recognized the favor which was given to me, Ya`aqóv and Këph and Yâhuwchânâ´n, those supposed to be pillars, they gave their right hands of fellowship to me and Bar-Nâvíy in order that we are entrusted the glad tidings for the heathen masses, but they for the Circumcision [of the flesh],
  10. Only adding that we should remember the poor, that very thing I was also diligent to perform.

Páulus corrects Këph for pleasing “Yehuwthím” legalists and not Yâ-hwéh, contrasts true Yâhuwthím to them

  1. But when Këph came unto ’Antióxeia, I opposed him in his face because he caused them to stumble[E7] ,
  2. For before that, some from Ya`aqóv (impostor/ supplanter – “Yehuwthím” [Yshá`Yâhuw 48: 1-2]) came towards the heathen masses he was eating together with, but when they came, he was drawing back and separating his self, being afraid of those from the Circumcision [of the flesh],
  3. And also the rest of the Yâhuwthím dissembled together with him thus that even Bar-Nâvíy was carried away with them by the fakery!
  4. Nevertheless when I saw that they did not walk uprightly towards the Truth of the glad tidings, I said to Këph in the sight of all:

“If you, having become a Yâhuwthíy [Romans 2: 28-29], live like heathen masses[E8]  [“Yehuwthím”] and not like Yâhuwthím, why do you compel the heathen masses to Yâháth (become “Yâhuwthím”)[E9] ?

15.    We are the linear descent of the Yâhuwthím [Romans 2: 17] and not the sinners from the heathen masses [“Yehuwthím”],

16.    Because we understand that a human is not justified from works of the Law, rather, through trusting in Yâhuwshúa` the Anointed!  And we have been persuaded on the Anointed Yâhuwshúa`, in order that we might be justified from trusting the Deliverer and not from works of the Law, for the very reason that all flesh shall not be justified from works of Law!

17.    But if seeking to be justified by the Anointed, we are also found sinners ourselves, is then the Anointed an attendant to serve sin?  May it not be!

18.    For if I again build these things that I demolished, I constitute my self a transgressor against the commandment.

19.    For by means of the Law, I died for the Law in order that I may live for Yâ-hwéh!

20.    So I have been hanged on a gallows-cross with the Anointed – now I live no longer, but the Anointed lives within me!  And now that [life] which I live in flesh, I live in persuasion: that of the Son of the Mighty One, Who affectionately loved me and gave His Self over for me!

21.    I do not reject the favor of Yâ-hwéh!  For if justification were through Law, then the Anointed died for nothing!”

Chapter 3

Justification and Spirit is from trusting, not Law

  1. ¶ O senseless Galátas, who mesmerized you with falsehoods to not be convinced of the Truth?  You, before whose eyes Yâhuwshúa` the Anointed was described among you, hanged on a gallows-cross?
  2. I wish only to learn this from you: did ye receive the Spirit from works of Law, or from the heeding of the persuasion?
  3. Are ye this senseless, that having begun with spirit, now ye are being perfected with flesh?
  4. Did ye suffer so many things in vain?  If indeed you did suffer, it was also in vain!
  5. Now He Who therefore is supplying to you the Spirit and working acts of Force among you, is it from works of the Law, or from the hearing of the persuasion?
  6. Just as

’Avrâhâ´m believed in Yâ-hwéh, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.”  [Genesis 15: 6].

  1. Recognize ye then, that those from his certainty, those ones are the sons of ’Avrâhâ´m!
  2. And in the scripture, foreseeing that Yâ-hwéh justifies the heathen masses from trusting, He announced glad tidings to ’Avrâhâ´m beforehand:

And ’Avrâhâ´m shall surely become into a great and powerful heathen mass, yet within him shall all of the heathen masses of the earth be blessed!”  [Genesis 18: 18]

  1. Thus also those heathen masses from trusting are being blessed together with the trusting ’Avrâhâ´m.
  2. For as many as are from works of the Law, are under a curse!  For it has been written:

Cursed is whoever, who does not uphold the words of this Law, by performing them!  [Deuteronomy 27: 26]

  1. Yet, that no one is being justified by the Law besides Yâ-hwéh is clear, because

…but a righteous one by his certainty of Me shall live!”  [Chavaqqúwq 2: 4 LXX]

  1. Yet the justification of the Law is not from certainty, rather: “Now keep ye My decrees and My laws; the Man Who shall perform them even He shall live by them: I am Yâ-hwéh!  [Leviticus 18: 5]
  2. The Anointed ransomed us from the curse of the Law, having become One cursed for our sake, for it has been written:

Do not leave His body on the gallows[E10] , for you will surely bury Him on that day; cursed [*[E11] ] is everyone[E12]  who is being hung, so you shall not defile your land that Yâ-hwéh your Mighty Ones is giving to you an inheritance.”  [Deuteronomy 21: 23]

  1. In order that the blessing of ’Avrâhâ´m might come for the heathen masses within the Anointed Yâhuwshúa`, in order that through the trusting, we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
  2. Brothers, I am speaking according to sons of ’Âthâ´m: still no one rejects a confirmed covenant of a man or adds thereto.
  3. But when the promises were spoken to ’Avrâhâ´m and to his Seed, He did not say: “and to the seeds”, as of many, instead as of one: “and to your Seed”, Which is the Anointed!
  4. And I say this: the Law, which took place four hundred and thirty years afterwards [3/6/2449 (5/26/1523 BC)], does not annul a covenant confirmed beforehand by Yâ-hwéh for the Anointed [2018 (1954 BC)], so as to make the promise of no effect!
  5. But if the inheritance were from a Law, it is no longer from a promise, yet Yâ-hwéh did grant the inheritance to ’Avrâhâ´m through a promise!
  6. Why then is the Law?  It was added for the sake of the rebellion [Romans 5: 20], until when the Seed should have come to Whom the promise has been made, and the Law was given by the hand of the Envoy, into the hands of a mediator [Moshéh].
  7. Yet the mediator is not He Who is One, but Yâ-hwéh is One.  [1 Timótheos 2: 5]
  8. Is then the Law against the promises of Yâ-hwéh?  May it not be!  For if a Law had been given that was able to make alive, possibly there really would have been justification from the Law!
  9. Instead, that scripture included all things under sin, in order that the promise might be given, from certainty in Yâhuwshúa` the Anointed, to those that are persuaded.
  10. Even before the persuasion came to us, we were besieged by the Law, as we were enclosed for the persuasion about to be disclosed to us.
  11. So that the Law has been our tutor for the Anointed, in order that from certainty we might be justified.
  12. Now when the trusting has come, we are no longer under a tutor,
  13. For ye are all sons of Yâ-hwéh through the trusting on the Deliverer Yâhuwshúa`!  [Yâhuwchânâ´n’s Glad Tidings 1: 12]
  14. For as many as were immersed into the Anointed have put on the Anointed.
  15. There, there is not a Yâhuwthíy nor a Hellenist[E13] , there is not a bondman nor a freeman, there is not a male not a female, for ye all are one within the Anointed Yâhuwshúa`!
  16. And if ye are of the Anointed, then ye are of the Seed of ’Avrâhâ´m and heirs in the promise!

Chapter 4

The infant Yâhuwshúa` was under the Law, to ransom us from bondage

  1. ¶ Now I am saying, for as long a time as the Heir was an infant, He was not more important than a bondman, though being Sovereign of all,
  2. Instead, He was under guardians and house-managers until the designated day of the Father
  3. (in this way we also, when we were infants, we were enslaved by the regiments of the world).
  4. But when the completion of the time came, the Mighty One dismissed His own Son, come from a woman, come by the Law,
  5. In order that He might ransom the ones under the Law, in order that we might receive the adoption.
  6. And because ye are sons, Yâ-hwéh dispatched the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, calling the Father: “’Avíy!”  (My Father!)
  7. Thus also you are no longer a bondman, rather a son; and if you are a son, you are also an heir of Yâ-hwéh, by the hand of Yâhuwshúa` the Anointed!
  8. Nevertheless then, when you indeed did not recognize Yâ-hwéh, ye were in bondage to that which is not naturally made to be a mighty ones, [the Law]
  9. But now, having acknowledged Yâ-hwéh, and more so, having been recognized by Yâ-hwéh, how do ye turn back again onto the feeble and destitute regiments from before, to which ye desire to be enslaved all over again?
  10. Ye scrupulously observe feast days, and new moons, and feast seasons, and years!

Páulus’s appeal for brothers to return back from legalists

  1. ¶ I am afraid for you, lest somehow I have labored in vain for you!
  2. Become like I am, because I also am like you, my brothers, I beg you.  You have not done me any harm.
  3. Yet, ye discern that from the beginning, I announced the glad tidings to you through the weakness of my flesh,
  4. And ye did not despise my trial within my flesh[E14]  nor reject it with contempt, instead ye received me as if the Envoy of Yâ-hwéh, as if the Anointed Yâhuwshúa`!
  5. Therefore, to what[E15]  was your happiness attributed?  For I testify that if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your eyes, and given them to me!
  6. So then, by speaking truth to you, have I become your enemy?
  7. They [legalists] are not virtuously zealous for you; instead they desire to exclude you in order that ye may be zealous for them!
  8. But to be zealous for virtue is always a virtue, and not only at my being present with you,
  9. My sons, for whom I travail in childbirth until the Anointed might have been formed within you,
  10. I was yet wishing to be present with you now, and to change my tone, because I have not figured you out!

The bondmen sons of Mount Çiynáy shall never inherit with the freemen sons of the promise

  1. Tell me, those who wish to be under the Law: don’t ye understand the Law?
  2. For it has been written that ’Avrâhâ´m had two sons: one from the bondwoman and one from the free woman.
  3. Nevertheless he who is from the bondwoman has indeed been born according to the flesh, but he who is from the free woman has been born through the promise,
  4. Which things are allegorized: for these women are the two covenants [Yshá`Yâhuw 54: 1]: one covenant is from Mount Çiynáy, begetting one unto bondage, which is ğâ´r[E16] .
  5. For ğâ´r is Mount Çiynáy in ’Aráv (Mith´n, now Saudi Arabia) and corresponds to the Yruwshâláim of now, and she is in bondage with her sons;
  6. But that new covenant of Yruwshâláim is a free woman, which is the mother of all of us.
  7. For it has been written:

Sing, barren woman [New Covenant], who never bore a child!  Burst into song and shout for joy, she who never writhed in labor!  Because many more are the sons of the deserted[E17]  woman [sons of the promise] than the sons of the woman having an owner[E18]  [sons of the flesh]!says Yâ-hwéh.   [Yshá`Yâhuw 54: 1]

  1. And we, brothers, like Yitschâ´q, are sons of the promise.
  2. Nevertheless, exactly like it was then, he who was procreated by the flesh persecuted the one who was procreated by the Spirit!  Thus also it is now.
  3. Nevertheless, what does the scripture say?

“Drive out that bondwoman and her son, because the son of that bondwoman shall never inherit with my son, with Yitschâ´q!”  (The son of the free woman)  [Genesis 21: 10]

  1. So then, brothers, we are not sons of a bondwoman, instead of the free woman!

Chapter 5

Do not be held prisoner to the Law

1.       Therefore, stand fast for the freedom to which the Anointed freed us, and do not be held again within a yoke of bondage!

2.       Look!  I, Páulus say to you that if ye are being circumcised [in the flesh], the Anointed shall be no advantage for you.

3.       So I testify again to every man being circumcised, that he is a debtor to perform the whole Law!

4.       Ye have deprived yourselves from all the Anointed’s effect, whoever by the Law tries to be justified: and ye have fallen from the favor!

5.       For from certainty we await the hope of justification by the Spirit!

6.       For within the Anointed Yâhuwshúa` neither is circumcision of any effect, nor uncircumcision, instead persuasion which operates through affectionate love.

7.       Ye were running well; who hindered you to not be convinced of the Truth?

8.       Your persuasion is not from the One Who calls you –

9.       A little ferment causes the entire lump to ferment!

10.    I am persuaded by Yâ-hwéh about you that ye will not have a different opinion, and the one agitating you shall bear the condemnation for himself, whoever he may be!

11.    But I, my brothers, if I were still proclaiming circumcision, why am I still persecuted?  Since then the snare of the gallows-cross hanging would have been rendered useless!

12.    I wish they would also cut themselves off, those who unsettle you!  [Tâ’ówm 21]

13.    For ye were called into freedom, brothers!  Only it is not the freedom for opportunity to the flesh, rather, [the opportunity] through affectionate love to bondserve ye one another.

14.    For the whole Law is crammed into one expression, within

[Do not seek revenge and do not bear a grudge against one of the sons of your people, and] you shall love your fellow as yourself – I am Yâ-hwéh!’  [Leviticus 19: 18]

15.    But if ye bite and devour one another, beware ye be not consumed by one another!

Walking by Spirit does not violate the Law

16.    ¶ Also I say: walk ye about by the Spirit, and indeed ye shall not fulfill the desire of the flesh.

17.    For the flesh desires that which is against the Spirit, and the Spirit desires what is against the flesh, and these things are opposed to one another, in order that ye should not do any of those things which ye may desire.

18.    But if ye are led by Spirit, ye are not under the Law.

19.    Now the works of the flesh are rendered apparent, which are [adultery,*[E19] ] fornication, uncleanness, licentiousness,

20.    Image-worship, drug abuse, hostilities, quarrels, fanaticism, anger, scheming[E20]  sects of dissension,

21.    Envying, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and things similar to these, that which I tell you beforehand, just as I also said before, that those who practice such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of Yâ-hwéh!

22.    But the fruit of the Spirit is affectionate love, happiness, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, persuasion,

23.    gentleness, and self-control.  There is no law against such things.

24.    But those that are of the Anointed One hanged their flesh on a gallows-cross together with the passions and the desires of it.

25.    If we are made to live by the Spirit, let us also follow the Spirit.

26.    But we should not become conceited, calling each other names, out of envy for one another.

Chapter 6

Help others to sow the correct Seed, watch yourself also what you sow

1.       My brothers, even if a man were caught in some transgression, ye who are spiritual ones, restore ye such a one by a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself, lest you also be tested!

2.       And bear ye one another’s burdens, and thus fulfill ye the Law of the Anointed One.

3.       For if anyone thinks himself to be something, being nothing, he deceives himself.

4.       So let each one test his own work, and then he will have the boasting for his self alone, and not for another one.

5.       For each shall carry his own tasks himself.

6.       So let the one being informed about the Word share it with the one who teaches in all good things.[E21]

7.       Do not be misled: Yâ-hwéh is not mocked!  For whatsoever a man may sow, that also he shall reap!

8.       Because he who sows for his own flesh, from the flesh shall reap corruption; and he who sows for the Spirit, from the Spirit shall reap endless life.

9.       So as we do virtue we should not get exhausted, because the season shall come when we shall reap and we shall not tire!

10.    Therefore this means while we have an opportunity, we should work goodness towards all, yet particularly towards those sons of the household of the persuasion.

The motivations of false teachers vs. those of Páulus

11.    Examine ye the scriptures that I have written to you by my hand!

12.    Those who wish to boast in the flesh are who are compelling you to be circumcised, only in order that they may not be persecuted for the gallows-cross hanging of the Anointed One!

13.    For neither do those who are being circumcised keep the Law themselves, rather they wish you to be circumcised in order that they might boast about your flesh.

14.    But mine [what I compel you to do], may it not be for boasting, except about the gallows-cross hanging of our Sovereign Yâhuwshúa` the Anointed, through Whom the world has been hung on a gallows-cross for me, and I for the world.

15.    For neither is circumcision of any effect, nor uncircumcision: instead a new creation is effective!

16.    And as many as shall follow this Way, peace and mercy shall be upon them, even upon Yâ-hwéh’s Yisrâ’Ë´l!

17.    Thus henceforth, let no one offer cuts [of circumcision of the flesh] to me, for I bear the marks of ownership of Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa` within my body.  [Circumcision of the heart]

18.    The favor of our Sovereign Yâhuwshúa` the Anointed be with your spirit, my brothers, ’Âmë´n!

To the Galátas, written from Róma

[E1]An `Ivríyth (Hebrew) idiomatic expression meaning “through”.

[E2]Greek: aíonos (eon).  To translate this as “world” is to contradict Yâhuwchânâ´n’s Glad Tidings 17: 15.

[E3]Páulus documents the early beginnings of the emasculation of the convocation with false glad tidings, in enslaving themselves to the fleshly works of the Law, brought in by “Yehuwthím” infiltrators, who also introduced their Talmudic myth of avoidance and censorship of the pure names, and after this, the “Christians” were further adulterated by paganism.  Why?  Yshá`Yâhuw 47: 6 says Yâ-hwéh was angry with His people and profaned His inheritance, and gave them into the hand of Bâvél, who put a very heavy yoke on them.

 [E4]Seek confirmation

 [E5]Greek translations have here “Greek”.

[E6]Greek translations have “Uncircumcision” here.  The Aramaic Peshitta translation has “Circumcision” here.  This must refer to the Circumcision of heart (Romans 2:28-29)

[E7]Greek translations say here: “was to be blamed.”

[E8]Páulus is referring to the “Yehuwthím as heathen masses, referring to living their racist segregation traditions.  The Aramaic translation has here “Aramean”, but verse 15 confirms Páulus’s saying that we are the true Yâhuwthím and the supplanter/deceivers are heathen masses spiritually.

[E9]This `Ivríyth (Hebrew) term which the “Yehuwthím” name-censors would change to “Yeth was transmutated into Arabic as Yihad, or Jihád.  The meaning of that term in Arabic (since the time of Islam) is of an Islamic “religious war” to gain converts by the sword.  Note the mockery of the original meaning of Yâháth, just another example of how Yishmâ`Ë´’l mocks Yitschâ´q even today.  Islam is the fleshly religion mocking ours, Yishmâ`Ë´’l’s spiritual legacy.  They are to follow the anointed falsifier, who will also call himself “Allah” and make these rule over his “Christian” enemies during the Great Tribulation month.  Thus, Yishmâ`Ë´’l has no inheritance with Yitschâ´q.

[E10]`Ivríyth (Hebrew): `ëts means wood, or tree, or gallows-cross.

[E11]Cursed by people without His Spirit.  No one can call Yâhuwshúa` accursed and be in the Spirit of the Pure One (1 Qorinthíym 12: 3).  It is important to point out that the “Yehuwthím” Masoretic text adds in here “cursed ‘of ’Elohíym’” in order to vindicate their mistake, and to pretend that our Sovereign was cursed by ’Elohíym (and some are still deceived!).  “of ’Elohíym” is not present here in neither the Greek nor the Aramaic translations.

[E12]That the Greek and Aramaic both say “everyone” demonstrates the presence of כל instead of כי in the Deuteronomy reference, a common mistake due to the resemblance of the handwritten letters.

[E13]Aramaic translation says here Aramean (Arâmíy).  Someone thought it refers to ones’ local nationality.  I believe “Hellenist” is original here since current day Christians are “Hellenists”, because they have numerous Greek words and deities in their worship.

[E14]Páulus is thought to have had blepharitis, an eye condition.

[E15]That is, to trusting, or to the Law?

[E16]The g is soft, as in “George”

[E17]The new covenant is this deserted woman, as our Sovereign is away in heaven physically, and shall return by promise to give us the unborn sons of the promise birth.

[E18]Having a binding husband, owner, controller, a lord.  The word used here in the `Ivríyth (Hebrew) is a form of the word Bá`al which means these things.  This one is Satan, who became the lord of death by means of the law of sin and death and hasn’t deserted this covenant, and he procreates sinner sons of the flesh.

[E19]Present in the Greek, but not in the Peshitta Aramaic translation.

[E20]Intrigue: meaning the scheme, the plot, the self-seeking faction.  This word is found in writings of Aristotle where it denotes a self-seeking pursuit of political office by unfair means.  Lexicons say the Greek word used here means electioneering or intriguing for office, partisanship, fractiousness.  This refers to the apostasy, which builds on a different foundation for a greater number of converts.  This intrigue is to become manifested in the Lie who will incarnate and conquer the world for himself.

[E21]Those that know of Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa` should share with secular teachers of good things, because the training our youth receive is important.
