The First Letter of Páulus to Thessaloníkeans

תסלוניקיא א

Chapter 1

From: - To:

1.       ¶ Páulus and Siluanús and Timótheos, to the convocation of Thessaloníkeans within Yâ-hwéh: the Father, and our Sovereign Yâhuwshúa` the Anointed:  Favor to you and peace.

2.       We give thanks to Yâ-hwéh (יָהְוֶה He causes to be/exist) always about you, continually making mention of you at our prayers,

3.       Unceasingly remembering before the Mighty One our Father, your work for the persuasion and your labor of affectionate love, and your perseverance in the hope of our Sovereign Yâhuwshúa` the Deliverer.

Thessaloníkean elect were turned to Yâ-hwéh

4.       Recognizing, my brothers beloved by Yâ-hwéh, your selection.

5.       Because our glad tidings did not come to you only by the Word - rather also by the Force and by the Spirit of the Pure One, and with much full assurance - just as what we became among you for your sakes;

6.       And ye became imitators of us and of our Sovereign, having accepted the Word during much oppression with the gladness of the Spirit of the Pure One,

7.       So that ye became models to all those believing in Makedonía and Achaï´a;

8.       For the Word of Yâ-hwéh [Yâhuwshúa` – Disclosure 20: 13] has resonated forth from you, not only within Makedonía and Achaï´a, rather also within every place that your persuasion (which is towards Yâ-hwéh) has gone abroad, so as for us to have no need to say a thing;

9.       For those around us relate how great an entrance we had towards you, and how ye reverted to Yâ-hwéh away from the worshipped images, to bondserve a living and true Mighty One,

10.    And to await His Son from the heavens, Whom He raised from among the dead - Yâhuwshúa`, Who has rescued us from the coming wrath!

Chapter 2

Páulus’ modus operandi[E1]

1.       ¶ For ye, my brothers yourselves recognize our entrance towards you, that it has not been void.

2.       Having also suffered beforehand and having been insulted (just as ye know), at Phílippoi, nevertheless, we were made confident by our Mighty Ones to speak the glad tidings of Yâ-hwéh before you during much conflict!

3.       For our invitation was not from fraud, nor from uncleanness, nor in deceit,

4.       Instead, inasmuch as we have been approved by Yâ-hwéh to be entrusted with His glad tidings, we do speak thus: not as seeking to please men, instead, Yâ-hwéh, Who examines our hearts!

5.       For neither at any time, as ye know, were we speaking with flattering words, nor with a pretense of extortion[E2] , Yâ-hwéh is Witness!

6.       Nor were we seeking honor from men, neither from you nor from others, though being able to have been honored as the delegates of the Anointed!

7.       Instead, we were gentle in your midst, as possibly a nursemaid might cherish her own children.

8.       And as we yearned thus over you, we would have been pleased to have given over to you not only the glad tidings of Yâ-hwéh, rather also our own lives, for the very reason that ye have become ones beloved to us.

9.       For ye brothers remember our labor and the toil, working night and day in order not to burden anyone of you, as we proclaimed unto you the glad tidings of Yâ-hwéh!

10.    Ye and Yâ-hwéh are witnesses, how purely and righteously we did this, and how blamelessly we were towards you that believe.

11.    Just as ye recognize how, we were encouraging each one of you, and consoling you as a father his own sons, …

12.    …And testifying, for you to walk worthily of Yâ-hwéh, Who has called you for His own kingdom and Honor!

Thessaloníkeans accepted the true pure name

13.    ¶ Due to this also, we give thanks to Yâ-hwéh unceasingly because, having accepted the Word of Yâ-hwéh [the name of Yâhuwshúa` (Disclosure 19: 13)] from our report, ye did not accept a word of the sons of ’Âthâ´m, rather the Word of Yâ-hwéh, according as it truly is, which also is effective within you who believe.

14.    For [this] ye became imitators, my brothers, of the convocations of Yâ-hwéh within the Anointed Yâhuwshúa` which are within Yâhuwthâ´h, because ye also suffered the same things from your own countrymen just as they also suffered from the “Yehuwthím”[E3] ,

15.    Who outright killed both our Sovereign Yâhuwshúa` and the predicators, and drove us out [Deeds of the Delegates 8: 1]; and who do not please the Mighty Ones, yet are opposed to all sons of ’Âthâ´m,

16.    Hindering many of us to speak to the heathen masses in order that they may be saved, for these their sins to be fulfilled at all times: so the wrath is come beforehand upon them unto the end[E4] .

Why Timótheos was sent to them

17.    ¶ But we, our brothers, having been removed away from you for an hour’s time in presence, but not in heart, we diligently made speed more abundantly to see your faces with much desire,

18.    Which is why we wished to come to you, indeed I, Páulus; and once and twice I tried, but the Adversary hindered us.

19.    For what is our hope or joy or crown of exaltation, than that ye may also be before our Sovereign Yâhuwshúa` the Deliverer at His presence?

20.    For ye are our honor and happiness.

Chapter 3

1.       Wherefore, no longer enduring it, we thought it good to be left alone in ’Athénai,

2.       And sent Timótheos, our brother and attendant of Yâ-hwéh, and our fellow-worker within the glad tidings of the Deliverer, to establish you and to exhort you about your certainty,

3.       That no one might be swayed by these oppressions!  For ye discern yourselves that we are set out for this,

4.       For also when we were with you, we told you beforehand that ‘we are about to suffer oppression’ just as it did come to pass, and ye understand!

5.       Due to this, I also no longer enduring it, sent out to know your persuasion, lest perhaps the testing one did test you [Sâţâ´n, Ya`aqóv 1: 13], and our labor should become void.

6.       But now, Timótheos, having come to us from you and having announced glad tidings to us of your persuasion and affectionate love, even that ye have always good recollection of us, longing to see us, even as also we do you;

7.       Due to this we were consoled, brothers, concerning you, over all our oppression and distress, due to your persuasion,

8.       Because now we all should live if ye should stand fast in Yâ-hwéh!

9.       For [otherwise] what thanksgiving are we able to render to Yâ-hwéh about you?  For [this] all of the happiness wherewith we rejoice before our Mighty Ones is for your sakes,

10.    Petitioning exceedingly night and day for seeing your face, and to perfect the things lacking in your belief.

11.    Yet may Yâ-hwéh Himself – even our Father and our Sovereign Yâhuwshúa` the Anointed – direct our way towards you.

Yâ-hwéh’s will for us:

(1) Abound in affectionate love

12.    And may Yâ-hwéh make you to exceed and to abound in affectionate love for one another and for all, exactly as also we do for you,

13.    Unto establishing your hearts blameless in pureness before the Mighty One, our Father, during the coming of our Sovereign Yâhuwshúa` the Deliverer amid all of His pure ones.

Chapter 4

(2) Be Pure and Just

1.       ¶ Therefore, brothers, what remains is, we beseech and implore you, by our Sovereign Yâhuwshúa`: you need to walk about and please Yâ-hwéh just as ye accepted Him from us, in order that ye should abound more;

2.       For ye understand what commandments we gave you through our Sovereign Yâhuwshúa`.

3.       For this is the will of Yâ-hwéh:

your purification,

and you to abstain from all fornication:

4.       And each of you to discern that his own vessel is to be obtained[E5]  by purification and valor,

5.       And not in the passion of lust, just as also the heathen masses who do not acknowledge Yâ-hwéh!  [Disclosure 15: 4]

6.       And not to overreach and to take advantage of his brother in any business, on the very account that Yâ-hwéh is the avenger about all these things, just as we told you before and fully testified.  [Deuteronomy 32: 35]

7.       For Yâ-hwéh did not call us on to uncleanness, rather, into purification!

8.       So then he who rejects this will rejects not a man, instead Yâ-hwéh, Who also grants His pure Spirit unto us[E6] !

Abound in brotherly love

9.       ¶ But concerning brotherly love, ye have no need for me to write to you, for ye yourselves are taught of the Mighty One to affectionately love one another.

10.    For ye also do this for all of the brothers who are in all of Makedonía, but we encourage you, brothers, to abound even more!

Be self-employed and be self-sufficient

11.    And endeavor earnestly to keep quiet and to do business privately, and to work with your own hands, just as we charged you,

12.    So that ye may walk about nobly towards those outside, and may hold employment of no one.

Hope for the First Resurrection (7th Trumpet)

13.    ¶ But I do not wish you brothers to be ignorant about those who have fallen asleep, in order that ye be not grieved, even as the rest who do not hold the hope.

14.    For if we believe that Yâhuwshúa` died and rose again[E7] , thus also, through Yâhuwshúa`, will the Mighty One induce together to Him those who have fallen asleep!

The Live gather first (6th Seal Day of Yâ-hwéh)

15.    For this reason we say to you, by the Word of Yâ-hwéh, that we, those who are living, are those leaving all around unto the coming of Yâ-hwéh.  In no wise will those who are fallen asleep arrive beforehand!

Events at the 7th Trumpet

16.    Because Yâ-hwéh Himself in a commanding shout in the voice of the Chief of envoys - even during the [last (1 Qorinthíym 15: 52)] Trumpet of the Mighty Ones, orbiting[E8]  the earth [MattithYâ´huw 24: 27] shall fully come down out of the skies, then those dead in the Deliverer shall rise first,

17.    Thereafter we, those living - those leaving all around together with them - shall be caught away in clouds unto the air, unto the encounter of Yâ-hwéh; and thus we shall be always together with Yâ-hwéh!

18.    So encourage one another by these words.

Chapter 5

Day of Yâ-hwéh: comes on Yowm Ha-Kippuríym (Day of the Atonements, 10th day of the seventh lunar month) [Deuteronomy 32: 42]

1.       But concerning the times [years] and the feast seasons, brothers, ye have no need for them to be written for you,

2.       For ye yourselves understand accurately that the Day of Yâ-hwéh comes thus as a thief by night[E9] . [Chanówkh 79: 7-10]

3.       For when they may say, “Peace and security”, then sudden destruction lands upon them, just as travail to her that is with child, and indeed they shall not escape.

4.       But ye brothers are not in darkness, in order that the Day should overtake you as a thief!

5.       For ye all are Sons of the Light, even Sons of the daytime; we are not Sons of the night or Sons of the darkness!

6.       Now then, we should not sleep as the rest do, instead we should keep watch and we should be sober;

7.       For they that do sleep, sleep by night, and they that are drunken get drunk by night,

8.       But we, being Sons of the daytime, should be sober, having put on a breastplate of certainty and of affectionate love, and a helmet: the hope of the rescue,  [compare Yshá`Yâhuw 59: 17[E10] ]

Remnant to be spared from wrath

9.       Because Yâ-hwéh has not set us for wrath, rather for the acquisition of rescue/safety through our Sovereign Yâhuwshúa` the Deliverer,

10.    Who died for us, in order that whether we may keep watch or we may sleep[E11] , we all, together with Him, may be made to live!

11.    Wherefore encourage one another, and let one build up the other, even as ye are also doing.

Closing pearls for peace

12.    ¶ But we request you brothers to recognize those who labor hard among you, and rank before you within Yâ-hwéh, and remind you,

13.    And to esteem them exceedingly in affectionate love on account of their work.  Be at peace among yourselves.

14.    But we implore you brothers, admonish the disorderly, console the depressed souls[E12] , assist the strengthless, be patient towards every soul;

15.    Watch lest anyone renders evil for evil to anyone, instead always pursue the good: both for one another, and for every man.

16.    Be always happy,

17.    And pray unceasingly,

18.    And give thanks in everything, for this is Yâ-hwéh’s will within the Anointed Yâhuwshúa` for you!

19.    Do not quench the Spirit,

20.    Do not disparage predictions.

21.    Prove all things, hold fast to the virtuous One,

22.    And keep yourself away from every image of the Wickedness[E13]  [ZkharYâ´hu 5: 3-11[E14] ].

He Who called us will have His remnant ready

23.    And may the Mighty Being of the shâlówm (peace, reconciliation, completeness) Himself purify you all completely, and may your entire spirit and self and body be preserved blameless during the coming of our Sovereign Yâhuwshúa` the Deliverer!

24.    Trustworthy is He Who is calling you, who also will perform it!

Closing requests

25.    Brothers, pray about us[E15] .

26.    Bid peace for all the brothers with a pure kiss.

27.    I adjure you by Yâ-hwéh that the letter be read to all of the purified brothers.

28.    The favor of our Sovereign Yâhuwshúa` the Anointed be with you.  ’Âmë´n.

First to the Thessaloníkeans written from ’Athénai

 [E1]May the informed reader compare and contrast this to today’s Christian T.V. evangelists and “Holy-roller” revival preachers.

 [E2]Greek: pleonxia – material greed, implying extortion.  Here we chose extortion due to the context, since this is often the tactic used by today’s Christian revival preachers, preaching doom unless you make generous financial offerings to them.

 [E3]This is their self-applied name which is a corruption of the tribe’s true name, Yâhuwthâ´h.  These are the original name-censors who take this to the extreme (see their number system).  “Yehuwthím” or “Yehuwthíy” is used in these texts only when it is applied to this name-erasing religious group.

 [E4]This passage explains the persecutions and genocides and wrath which “Yehuwthâ´h” have had to endure BEFORE the wrath comes for adulterous Yisrâ’Ë´l (“Christianity”)

 [E5]On His coming, we are to obtain our new vessel, and we should be in purity and esteem, prepared for it.

 [E6]Aramaic Peshitta translation says “you” here.  This which the Greek one says is contextually more logical since this commandment came from “we” (verse 2).

 [E7]This portion of the truth has been kept intact in all sects of apostate Christianity, even Roman Catholicism, until it shall be misapplied to the anointed falsifier.  See Romans 10: 9-10.  It is one of the two keys to the Kingdom; the broad gate.  (The narrow gate key is professing that Yâhuwshúa` is Yâ-hwéh, the key of Dâwíth.)  Its misapplication explains the Lie’s marked followers spending the 1,000 year Day of Wrath in the hottest hell, still being part of the decapitated body of the Lie, which is in the lake of fire at that time.  However, none of those are written in the book of life.

 [E8]To orbit the earth is a falling descent, and He will land again at Tsiyyówn for the planned encounter.  As He arrived on earth at the 6th seal, and will have been on earth three and a half years prior to the seventh trumpet, this is not His initial arrival from the heavens, so this verse does not contradict all scripture which says He comes in judgment and (v. 15) that the dead do not arrive before the living.

 [E9]It sneaks up on those who live in darkness, following the Gregorian Roman Catholic Solar calendar, and do not know when the commanded Feast Days are!  This verse, ignoring verses 4-8, is commonly used by them to claim we cannot know at all when it is, especially since they believe this refers to a “Rapture” to escape the sudden destruction (v.3).

 [E10]Contrast this with the armor of Yâhuwshúa` in Yshá`Yâhuw 59: 17 – He put on righteousness as the breastplate, and a helmet of rescue.  He reckons our persuasion, backed by the work of love, for righteousness, and our hope is of His rescue.

 [E11]From the context of vv. 6-8, these “who sleep” are not dead… yet.  They sleep by the spirit of lethargy (Romans 11: 7-8).  They enter the Kingdom to live with Him through extermination – the broad gate.

 [E12]Greek: tous oligopsuchous.  The Aramaic Peshitta translation here as “those with a low nephésh”.  In Spanish, this would be “los de poco animo”, which means the depressed souls, or those short on motivation.

 [E13]A name given to the anointed falsifier in the reference.  This verse in the Greek prohibits our looking at and believing any image, picture, or view of the Wickedness, the manmade substitute for the Anointed Who is the Image of Yâ-hwéh.

 [E14]“And He said this to me: ‘This is the curse going out over the surface of the whole earth: because everyone of the ones thieving from this side, according to it, shall be erased; and everyone of the ones filling it in from this other side, according to it, shall be erased: I shall send it out, declares Yâ-hwéh of Hosts, “and it will come to the house of the thief, and to the house of the one filling in the Lie for My name, and it will remain within his house, and it will destroy it and its timbers and its stones!”: Then the Envoy speaking to me came forward and He said to me: “Lift your eyes now, and look!  What is this one going abroad?”  And I asked: “What is it?”  And He replied: “This is the bushel (’Ëyphâ´h), the one going abroad”, and He added: “This is their vision source throughout all the earth [“Holy Bible”].”  Then see!  The cover of lead was raised and this one woman was sitting within the bushel.  And He said: “This is the WICKEDNESS!  [the LorD XezVs ChrIstos 666]” And He pushed her into the interior of the bushel and He pushed the cover of lead over its mouth.  And I lifted up my eyes and I looked, and see!  Two women going out with wind in their wings and their wings were like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the bushel out of the earth and out of the heavens.  And I said to the Envoy, the One speaking to me: “To where are they carrying the bushel?”  And He replied to me: “To build for it a house in the land of Shin`â´r.  When it is ready, then it will be set there on her place [the image of the beast exiled to Bâvél].

 [E15]More than just about Páulus, this means to pray concerning the believing remnant, the currently rebuilding Virgin of Yisrâ’Ë´l.
